Komunitas Tin-Thir mengadakan acara ini sebab setelah mendapat banyak Link dari acara The 6th International Youth Conference,, kembali memberikan wacana kesadaran dan juga aksi dari selirih kesadaran. Akan Hidup yang semakin ruwet dan Alam Semesta yang semakin rusak,, sudah barang tentu sebab ulah tangan kita yang melahirkan Industri yang mengagung-agungkan kemudahan dan kecepatan tanpa peduli hasil buangannya; Efek industri, semisal sampah yang meracuni tidak hanya manusia tapi juga Bumi. 

Acara ini tentang bagaimana kita peduli,, dan mau bergabung untuk beraksi selamatkan Budaya,, Sosial,, dan Alam. Bukan lagi sikap sok kritis yang ternyata hanya dikerjakan dipermukaan saja. Mari menjadi bagian masyarakat yang PEDULI akan dampak tatanan lingkungan yang rusak,, untuk memulai menyembuhkan dan membenahi.

*Betapa kita dianugerahi rasa PEDULI, bukan? Dan kita tahu,, itulah yang membuat kita menjadi Manusia dan sederhana. 

Acara ini mungkin akan sangat padat dan nyaman,, karena langsung menusuk ke target permasalahan yang tidak hanya ada di desa jenawi pun mengglobal seperti;
~ Seminar dan Workshop tentang kearifan lokal,, air,, dan sampah. 
~ Aksi; Ngenger di rumah masyarakat Noyu dan Tawangrejo untuk sosialisasi pada masyarakat dengan berbagi kesadaran.
~ Meditasi di atas sungai,, aksi susur dan bersih sungai. 
~ Puncak acara akan diadakan pasar jajan tradisional yang di setting Naliko Semono,, tanpa listrik hanya ada penerangan dari Dian atau Pelita (tinthir) juga Penjor dan Obor,, yang paling menarik anda akan membeli jajanan yang masyarakat jual dengan uang kreweng (uang dari tanah liat/genteng).

*Semua serba Naliko Semono. Demi Kebersamaan Untuk Keberlangsungan Hidup,, mari bergabung dan jadilah bagian dari renik kecil semesta yang bergemerisik memancarkan keindahan cahaya masing-masing. Sebab kita PEDULI, iya-kan?

Komunitas Tin-Thir berterima kasih begitu besar penuh kehangatan teruntuk panitia The 6th International Youth Conference 2008 dan Ketua Komunitas Nyawiji yang mau memberikan kesempatan pada Komunitas Tin-Thir untuk menjadi bagian dari panitia dan acara IYC.
Kami sangat merasa bahagia ketika acara di desa Sidomukti sukses dan lancar,, ini juga atas kerjasama panitia dan peserta yang masih mau meniik desa Sidomukti dengan permasalahan yang pelik bin ruwet. Acara yang hanya leyeh-leyeh sambil ngobrol ngalor-ngidul dan field trip ke mata air di Telukan-Tawangrejo,, lingkaran permasalahan desa ini yang sebelumnya sudah di workshop-kan di Segoro Gunung. 

Komunitas Tin-thir sangat bangga akan pencapaian wacana atas kesadaran yang semoga seperti yang kita harapkan,, sistem getok tular. Kami mengharapkan jangan pernah putus Link karena untuk mengapai kesadaran yang harus dibangkitkan,, memang kita adalah generasi yang harus berkembang secara sadar,, sebab dunia semakin tua dan rusak hanya kita yang sanggup mencegah dan menyembuhkannya sebelum apa yang tidak kita harapkan terjadi. 

Maturnuwun sanget kagem rencang-rencang Panitia,, Peserta The 6th International Youth Conference 2008 lan Ketua Komunitas Nyawiji,, mugi-mugi kerjasama niki mboten putus. Mari bersama berkarya untuk mewujudkan hijau dan damainya Dunia.

If You Change Your DNA, You Will Really Change Your Life

Karanganyar, 3rd – 10th of August 2008

Changing DNA is a new concept and /or a new idea about how to ’change’ in this modern world. But it is not just about changing it is more about changing in a sustainable way. It is not a matter of fulfilling what we need now, but also preparing what we will need in the future. How can we change is one of the biggest questions in this concept. And what kind of changes do we need? What is a DNA? What is the correlation between DNA and being to change? Through those questions we were struggling and brain storming about the concept and theme of The 6th International Youth Conference in the past 4 months. 


DNA is the blueprint of life; it is located in every living cell on earth, which can control each function inside of it. Here we will not only discuss the DNA of a human being and not merely in a scientific way but more in a broader sense. Imagine if not only the living thing that has DNA, imagine if every thing in this world had it’s own DNAs. Social DNA, cultural DNA, environment DNA, institution DNA, organization DNA, society DNA, etc. It formed the character of every subject that follows. What if some of the DNA has become a problematic one? With the development of the world, DNA is growing in its own rhythm, what if this DNA is growing not in a good way?


From there we will start to focus on the problems we face in this present time. Tracking down from where problems might come from, we have to ask whether is it coming by itself or coming from somewhere else. It is like putting down a fire, when you know the source, it will be easier to handle it. This conference will try to find out about, what can a single man do for this world?


This year conference will not be the same conference like the previous years. All participants are invited to struggle with their personal experiences and documentations in life to achieve the maximum result from the conference. There will so many different kinds of activities that needs to documented and in the end to be summarized by participants. This will be the basic foundation for the participants to start moving in their own society. The activities are seminar or conference; workshops of artistic and cultural subject; action on planting trees and environment conservation; cultural performances and many more.


The aim of this conference is to find a new way and/or a concept to react in this globalization world, not just accepting and repeating the same action, but also to act in another way to create a sustainable world and society. 


Solo International Youth Conference is one of other Youth Conferences in all over the world. Basically, it has the same idea, which is a forum for young people to meet and express their personal opinions and ideas about environmental, social and also cultural issues. To find out what is the role for young people in all over the world in preparing a place and an environmentr to live for the next generations. And by having it internationally, the young people know that they are not walking alone in this problematic’s world.

3 - 8 of August 2008: Toh Kuning, Karanganyar

8-10 of August 2008: Cetho temple, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar

This year conference will be held in a beautiful mountain landscape with agricultural and tourism objects. Participants will stay in families for the whole week. You will spend more time with a family in the countryside, and have a space for knowledge transfer among people and generations. And all of the conference’s programs are going to be done in the surrounding villages where the will stay with.

Organizers:

The 6th International Youth Conference is organized by young people form different background of studies and level. There are high school students, university students, farmers, environment activist, social worker, cultural community, and also the local society. All of those people are member of two associations called NYAWIJI and LPKBN. NYAWIJI is, LPKBN is Both associations are based on cultural subject especially in Indonesia. The association has the same concern about what is happening in the society, concerning the cultural degradations. Together they wanted to realize their concern trough this initiative to inform the society about the problem we are facing in this present time.
